The case of the Eza Sealander is completely assembled by hand. All the parts; case, glass, crown caseback and gaskets are checked. After every operation, the watch is checked again. When the case is completely assembled, the case is first completely empty tested for its 300 meter water resistance. We do this because if it turns out one of the gaskets weren’t completely clean, the watch will not be water resitant up to 300 meters. We don’t want the movement and dial to get wet. This is an extra test to be extra sure that the case can handle the force of 300 meter water pressure. If the watch passes this first test, the dial is added to the movement and the hands are very precisely positioned. The our hand and minute hand are perfectly aligned and positioned that the date jumps over at 0.00 hour.
All Eza Watches are personally checked by Adriaan and Diederik before they leave the factory. We look at every detail, just to be sure the watch starts his journey to you in perfect shape.
